Frijole Negro Cubano Ensalada
4 cans of organic black beans
1 large chopped onion
1/2 cup (125 ml) olive oil
2 tsp. (10 ml) cumin
juice of 2 large lemons
hot sauce
ground pepper
salt (optional)
1 large each of organic: red and yellow bell peppers, chopped
1 bunch of fresh chopped parsley leaves + a few sprigs for garnish.
2 tsp. (10 ml) of fresh chopped cilantro leaves
2 tsp. (10 ml) of fresh chopped cilantro leaves
primero 1st. Drain the black beans.
segundo 2nd. Refrigerate until chilled.
tercer 3rd. Mix all the other ingredients together.
cuarto 4th. Add the drained black beans and mix well.
quinto 5th. Add hot sauce, salt (optional), and pepper to taste.
sexto 6th. Cover and refrigerate.
séptimo 7th. Garnish with parsley sprig.
