A nice, light dessert for two.

2 organic apples, cored, sliced 1/2 inch (1,25 cm)
2 Tbs. (30 ml) organic butter (almond butter-dairy free)
2 tsp. (10 ml) thyme* leaves (1/2 tsp. dry) or to taste
fresh thyme sprigs for garnish

1. Melt the butter over medium-heat.
2. Cook the apples about 4 minutes on both sides.
3. Add the thyme. Cook on low heat about 3 minutes.
4. Serve with sprigs of thyme or sprinkle dry thyme over the apples

*Thyme is a basic ingredient in international dishes: Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian, Jordanian, Israeli, Libyan, Indian, Italian, French, Albanian, Persian, Portuguese, Assyrian, Spanish, Greek, Nigerian, Caribbean, and Turkish, to flavor soups, stews, tomatoes, and eggs (also lamb and other meats).
