I am not a great fan of cooked broccoli; I rather eat raw broccoli in my salads. But this recipe adds a nice texture and taste.-Mike
Serves 4

1 Tbs. (15 ml) olive oil
3 thinly sliced cloves of garlic
2 Tbs. (30 ml) balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. (10 ml) reduced sodium soy sauce or gluten-free liquid aminos
1 tsp. (4,5 g) organic brown sugar
1 pound (455 g) broccoli florets (= about 4 cups/800 g)

1. Heat the oil over medium-low heat and sauté the garlic about 1-2 minutes.
2. Add the vinegar, soy sauce/liquid mains, sugar and reduce the heat to low.

Try:
Sicilian purple broccoli                           Romanesco broccoli (actually cauliflower)
