taco is a traditional Mexican dish, eaten at every meal. Native people in the Valley of Mexico eat small lake fish in tacos, before European arrived. For lunch, my dad and I would warm taco shells over an electric burner on the stove, then spread jam, fold and eat!  -Mike

Tacos de Pescado (Spanish)

Need:
halibut or tilapia fillets
olive oil
optional: chili powder, dried oregano, paprika, and/or black pepper
add toppings to taste:
organic...
  • guacamole
  • salsa
  • lettuce
  • cabbage
  • sour cream
  • lemon or lime juice
  • onions
  • (dairy-free) cheese
  • avocado

1. Brush the fillets with oil.
2. Combine the spices in a bowl and rub into the fillets.
3. Grill or bake in the oven until firm.
4. Serve fillets wrapped in warmed flour, organic corn, or gluten free tortillas.
5. Add any toppings.
