Selection of sliced meats can be used by itself or with cheese, vegetables, breads, or (fresh or dried) fruit tray(s); assortment of nuts, olives, jam, jelly, and/or mustards.
Mix a complementary and contrasting flavors of meats. Here are some suggestions. Look for organic meats, or those free from chemical nitrites, nitrates, or antibiotics.
1. Two varied levels of saltiness or smokiness, like prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, or spicy chorizo
2. Slices of ham, turkey, chicken, and/or roast beef
3. Pâtés
4. Visit the gourmet section of the grocery store. Sample and decide what you would like to add to the list.
