I buy the rotisserie chicken. Use half and slice the other side and freeze. Great for last minute dinners, addition to pasta, quick sandwich, etc. But it is always the same taste. Here's a way to add different flavors to a store-bought chicken.-Mike
1 organic lemon
dry thyme
1 cup (240 ml) dark beer
1 Tbs. (15 ml) olive oil
2 tsp. (10 g) each: dried basil and German mustard or a stone-ground mustard
minced organic garlic cloves
1 rotisserie chicken
1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl.
2. Place the chicken on backing pan.
3. Slice open the wings and thighs, but attached to the chicken.
4. Lightly slice sections around the breast.
5. Brush the sauce over and into the parts of the chicken.
6. Pour any extra sauce over the chicken.
7. Marinade for an hour.
8. Warm the whole chicken or slices in the oven.
