Another no-ice-cream-maker recipe for a homemade ice cream.
Makes 1 quart (95 ml)
Freeze 4 hours before serving.
24 organic frozen strawberries*, about 5 cups (1,25 l)
1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) heavy cream
1. Purée the ingredients.
2. Pour into a baking dish.
3. Cover and freeze 4 hours.
4. Let it stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.
* 5 cups (1,25 l) organic frozen peaches + 1/2 tsp. (2,5 ml) nutmeg
