I am not one who likes cooked cauliflower. I rather eat it raw in salads. But by roasting and adding paprika to it, I enjoy the dish.-Mike
Makes 4-6 servings
Preheat the oven to 400F (200C)
1 medium head of organic cauliflower, cut into bite-size pieces
1 medium organic red or yellow onion, sliced thinly
1 Tbs. (15 ml) olive oil
2 tsp. (9 g) Italian seasoning
1 tsp. (4,5 g) each: garlic powder and paprika (more to taste)
1/2 tsp. (2,25 g) turmeric
optional spices that go well with cauliflower: parsley, thyme, tarragon, black or lemon pepper
1. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl.
3. Stir to combine.
4. Spread the mixture evenly on the baking pan.
5. Bake for 45-55 minutes, until the cauliflower is tender and holds its shape.
6. Serve warm, room-temperature, or chilled.
7. Sprinkle any optional spices to taste.
