Beans have all the protein one needs. A serving per day is recommended.  Add (gluten free) chips and/or bread, and vegetable as an appetizer.

Pâté à les Haricots (French)
Serves 6

2 cups (260 g) organic canned beans (one type or a mixture)
1 diced organic onion
2 or more minced organic garlic
1/2 cup (65 g) (gluten-free) bread crumbs
2 tsp. (10 ml) organic mustard
juice of 1 organic lemon
2 Tbs. (30 ml) olive oil
1/2 tsp. (2,5 g) organic honey
basil
organic green leaves (lettuce)

unan 1. Add all the ingredients except the green leaves in a food processor.


daou 2. Purée until smooth.


tri 3. Place in a bowl with the lettuce. 


pevar 4. Cover and chill before serving.
