Moo Shu (木须 /mo͞o′ sho͞o/ is a Northern Chinese dish of stir-fried ingredients (vegetables, mushrooms, eggs, meat, or fish).

木薯白菜
/mùshǔ báicài/
Serves 4

organic shiitake or cremini mushrooms
1 Tbs. (15 ml) each: peanut or olive oil and soy sauce/(gluten-free) liquid aminos
1 tsp. (5 ml) hoisin sauce (gluten-free: some brands might have wheat)
6 cups (420 g) shredded organic cabbage
shredded organic carrots
sliced organic onion

 /yī/ Stir-fry the mushrooms in the oil about 2 minutes.

 /èr/ Mix together the soy sauce/liquid aminos and hoisin sauce.

 /sān/ Add to the mushrooms.

 /sì/ Add the cabbage, carrots, and onions. 

 /wǔ/ Stir-fry until hot and still crisp, 1-2 minutes.
