Alia Bruschetta

Not to outshine Gilroy, CA Garlic Festival, we do have one in Oregon. Alia makes great bruschetta with lots of garlic, tomatoes....Great for hors d'oeuvres, with Italian dinner, or just for a fun lunch.

Ingredients
3 roma tomatoes
4 cloves of garlic
Extra V. olive oil
french bread
basil, fresh
italian spices

** add enough spices to cover the top, visually. more is better!!

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice the french bread loaf into medium size slices, and place directly on cookie sheet.

Slice each of the tomatoes in half, and rub each slice of bread with enough juice to cover the bread. Then, slice the rest of the used tomato into small chucks, spread over each slice. Dice garlic and basil, and add
to bread with italian spices. Cover with EVOO and put in oven. cook 15 mins.

5 mins before the bread is done. add EVOO directly on the bread while in the oven to prevent dryness.
