Serves 6
Serve with a pasta dish, as hors d'oeuvres, or just with wine and cheese.

2 Tbs. (30 ml) each: lemon juice and red wine vinegar
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp. (1 ml) red pepper flakes
1 avocado, cubed
1/2 tsp. (2,5 ml) each: dried oregano and black pepper

1. Whisk in the above mixture with 1/4 cup (60 ml) each: oil and dried cilantro or parsley.
2. Fold in avocado.
3. Toast slices of whole grain or ciabatta bread.
4. Spread the mixture on top of the bread slices.
