中国的鲑鱼 (Chinese)
/zhōngguó de guīyú/
Serves 4
  • Salmon has earned a reputation as a health food, because of its omega-3 fatty acid content. 
  • Studies indicate omega-3 aids in the prevention of cardiovascular (heart) diseases.
  • 4 ounces (112 g) = 2 g of omega-3 fats (more than the average American adult gets from all food in seven days)
3 Tbs. (45 ml) soy sauce or liquid aminos
2 Tbs. (30 ml) dry sherry
2 minced cloves of garlic
salmon fillet pieces for 4 people (about 1 pound/450 g)
2 Tbs. (30 ml) chopped cilantro or parsley

. Combine soy sauce/aminos, sherry and garlic in a bowl.
. Add the salmon and coat it both sides. Marinate for 20 minutes.
. Oil a grill or broiler pan. Drain salmon and save the marinade.
. Grill or boil, skin down.
Baste with the extra marinate juice after 5 minutes.
. Continue to cook another 5 minutes or until salmon begins to flake with tested with a folk.
. Serve with sprinkled cilantro or parsley on top.
