Heat up the BBQ or over-top grill pan for a serving of organic vegetables. Look and taste delicious!

Makes about 3 steaks per head 
of cauliflower or broccoli
This is an interesting way to serve cauliflower or broccoli as a side dish or a main dish also.
  • marinate 30 minutes
  • grill 5-7 minutes
1. Start with 2 pounds (1 kg) of organic cauliflower or broccoli with thick stems.
2. Trim the stems and peel them.
3. Slice the broccoli or cauliflower about 3/4 inches (2 cm) thick.
4. Marinate them in olive oil and Italian herbs* for 30 minutes.
5. Grill on medium-high heat 375F-400F (245C-206C) for 5-7 minutes on each side.
6. Before serving, top with a squeeze of lemon juice and sprinkle of grated Parmesan or dairy free cheese.

*1 tsp. (5 ml) each dried: oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, and sage
or 3 tsp. (15 ml) fresh chopped herbs


II
Carrots
  • stream 5 minutes
  • marinade 30 minutes
  • grill 15 minutes
1 pound (45 g) organic carrots
2 Tbs. (30 ml) each: olive oil and soy sauce or liquid amino acid
1 Tbs. (15 ml) honey
1 tsp. (5 ml) grated ginger
pinch of sea salt and black pepper.

1. Wash the carrots, remove the tops, but leave a little of the green tops for decoration.
2. Steam the carrots for 5 minutes.
3. Quickly rinse in cold water.
4. Whisk the other ingredients together.
5. Add the carrots, mix together, marinade about 30 minutes.
6. Grill on medium-high heat 375F-400F (245C-206C)  until grill marks appear. Turn regularly, about 15 minutes in all.

III
Corn on the Cob
  • grill 8-10 minutes
A. Dressing: Whisk... 
2 Tbs. (30 ml) olive oil
1 1/2 tsp. (7,25 ml) white or red wine vinegar
pinch of sea salt and black pepper

B. 4 medium ears of organic corn
1 large red onion, cut into 1/2-inch (130 mm)

1. Steam carrots about 5 minutes.
2. Grill vegetables on medium-high heat 375F-400F (245C-206C)  for 8-10 minutes; flip the onions and rotate the corn.
4. Remove from the grill.
5. Chop the red onions and cut the corn into several pieces.
6. Place in a serving bowl.
7. Toss in some cherry tomatoes and the dressing.
8. Top with sliced basil leaves.

IV
Green Beans
  • marinate 30 minutes
  • grill 10 minutes
A. Dressing: Whisk...
1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
2-3 minced garlic cloves
pinch of sea salt and black pepper

B. 1 pound (45 g) fresh organic green beans
some organic lemon juice

1. Marinate the beans in the dressing for 30 minutes.
2. Grill the beans on medium-high heat 375F-400F (245C-206C) about 10, until crisp and lightly browned, turn regularly.
3. Top with lemon juice.

V
Sweet Potatoes or Yams
  • grill 15-20 minutes
A. Dressing: Whisk...
olive oil
1/2 tsp. (1,25 ml) each dried: thyme, sea salt and black pepper

B. 2 pounds (1 kg) sweet potatoes or yams, cut into 1/2 inch (130 mm) slices

1. Brush the dressing on the potatoes.
2. Grill vegetables on medium-high heat 375F-400F (245C-206C) about 15-20 minutes until charred and tender. Turn the potatoes once while cooking.
