I make our own Italian dressing with a little red wine vinegar or Balsamic * herbs:garlic, Italian spice, dried basil * water * dark olive oil. Here is another.-Mike
makes 2 1/2 cups (600 ml)
1 1/2 cups (360 ml) olive oil
1/2 cup (120 ml) red wine vinegar
3-4 Tbs. (45-60 ml) Dijon mustard or more for a zesty taste
1/3 cup (80 ml) yeast
3 Tbs. (45 ml) organic sugar
2 tsp. (10 ml) each dried: basil and oregano
1 tsp. (5 ml) each dried: thyme, rosemary, and marjoram
1/2 tsp. (2,25 ml) black pepper
1. Add to a glass jar, lid on, shake until combined!
2. It can be refrigeratored for 4-6 weeks.
