Add a little special treat after a meal with baked pears.
Serves 4
Preheat oven to 375F (190C)
2 large organic pears, sliced in half and cored
1 Tbs. (15 ml) organic lemon juice
4 Tbs. (60 ml) organic nut butter (hazel, almond, cashew, etc.)
1-2 Tbs. (15-30 ml) organic honey
1. Drizzle pear halves with lemon juice.
2. Divide the nut butter between the 4 slices of pears
3. Bake 25-35 minutes or until tender.
(a) If the hazelnut butter begins to brown too much, over loosely with foil.
