Makes 3 cups (720 ml)
6 organic carrots
4 organic red apples, cored and sliced
1 1/2-inch (3,8 cm) piece of ginger root, peeled and sliced
optional: 6 springs of fresh parsley or 1/4 cup (60 ml) loosely packed basil or cilantro leaves
1. In a juicer, process: 1/2 of the carrots, 1/2 of the apples, and all of the ginger.
2. Add the remaining carrots, apples, and optionals items. Process.
3. Whisk and serve.
*Substitutions:
for ginger root: 1/2-inch (1,27 cm) piece of peeled turmeric
for apples: 2 organic pears
