Do not have any BBQ sauce or just want to make your own, healthy sauce...
Makes about a cup (240 ml)
1 cup (240 ml) organic ketchup
1/3 cup (80 ml) unsulphured blackstrap molasses
2 tps. (9 g) organic brown sugar or maple sugar
1 tsp. (5 ml) each: balsamic vinegar and soy sauce or gluten-free tamari or liquid aminos
1 tsp. (4,5 g) chili powder
1/4 tsp. (1 g) garlic powder
pinch of cayenne pepper
1. Put all the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine.
2. Pour a little over grilled foods.
2. Store in the refrigerator.
