Homemade tartar sauce tastes a lot better than store-bought. Plus it does not take a lot of time.
Makes about a cup (240 ml)

1/4 cup (60 ml) (dairy-free) mayonnaise
2 Tbs. (30 g) each: minced drained capers and sweet pickle relish
1 small minced shallot
1 1/2 tsp. (7 ml) white vinegar
1/2 tsp (2,5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. (2, 5 g) black pepper

1. Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl.
2. Cover and let it sit about 15 minutes.
3. Stir again before serving.
