Dark beer reminds me the many times, well a few times, my mom and I would enjoy Dunkelbier at a German restaurant. -Mike
Marinierte Sauce, Hühnchen und dunkles Bier (German)
Serves 4
Marinate for 2-12 hours

1/2 cup (80 ml) olive or peanut oil
1 tsp. (2 g) each: black pepper, German mustard, minced basil, thyme leaves
1/4 cup (60 ml) organic lemon juice
1 cup (240 ml) dark (German) beer
4 minced organic cloves of garlic
organic chicken parts for barbecuing or on the stove grill 

additional: spaetzle (not gluten-free), sauerkraut, sliced organic apples

~Bavarian/Bairisch~
oas 1. Whisk together oil and mustard. 

zwoa 2. Whisk in the beer and lemon juice until smooth.

drei 3. Stir in the garlic, pepper, basil, and thyme.

fiare 4.  Add the chicken parts. Coat well.

fimfe 5. Cover and refrigerate 2-12 hours.

sechse 6. Heat the charcoal grill (BBQ) or grill iron pan on the stove. 

sieme 7. Drain the chicken. Do not save the marinade.

åchte 8. Place the chicken on the grill. Cook uncover until skin is scrip and temperature of 165F (63C), about 20-35 minutes.

neine 9. Serve with mustard on a bed of German spaetzle noodles, sauerkraut, sliced apples...and beer if you like.
