It is a little tart-sweet and goes well with chicken, seafood, grains, or vegetables.
Makes 1 cup (240 ml)
2 Tbs. (30 ml) organic each: tomato paste and roasted organic red peppers (comes in a jar)
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup (50 g) organic almonds
1. Sauté the tomato paste, garlic, and almonds in the oil until the paste starts to darken, about 3 minutes. Allow to cool.
2. Purée the sautéed ingredients with the roasted red peppers in a blender until smooth.
