Out of the Middle East and onto your hors d'oeuvre table...This is a great recipe for making your own hummus. Any extra can be kept in the freezer and thaw when you need more. 

Ingredients 
1 can (15-oz/450 g) organic white beans, rinse but save 2 Tbs. (30 ml) liquid
1/4 cup (60 ml) tahini
1/3 cup (80 ml) organic lemon juice
2 Tbsp. (30 ml) olive oil
1 garlic
chopped Kalmata olives

Directions 

Take all ingredients and put into a food processor. Puree on high for about 1 minute until creamy and smooth. Remove and place in a glass tupperware dish! Enjoy! 

Serve with French bread, organic raw vegetables, organic potato chips, etc.
