Sit back with a tall glass of herb (aids with digestion)-fruit (high in nutrients)-flax (fiber) drink.
Makes 1 drink
1 cup (130 g) organic frozen blueberries
1 Tbs. (15 g) organic flaxseed
1 tsp. (5 g) organic (local if possible) honey
pinch or two of thyme
1/2 tsp. (2,5 ml) organic lemon zest
1/2 medium frozen organic banana, cut into slices
1 cup (240 ml) organic almond milk
1. Place the frozen blueberries in the blender, topping them with flaxseed, honey, thyme, and lemon zest.
2. Add the banana and milk. Blend until smooth.
optional: Top it off with a few whole blueberries and mint leaves.
