It is a cheese spread from Austran, Hungarian, and Slovakian cuisine. It is different from the Bavarian spread, and uses goat cheese instead.

Liptaver (Slovenian)
Urnebes (Serbian)
Liptao (Coratian, Albanian, 
and province of Trieste, Italy)
Serves 4

4 Tbs.(115 g) organic goat cheese, room temperature
2 Tbs. (28 g) organic (dairy-free) butter, room temperature
1/2 Tbs. (7 g) Dijon mustard
caraway seeds
minced organic onion
chopped organic garlic 
paprika

garnishes:
  • sliced organic bell peppers
  • sliced organic radish
  • sliced (pickled) cucumbers
  • capers

oans /whan) /ans (ans) 1. In a bowl, mix the cheese and butter.


zwoa (zwha)/zwa (zva) 2. Mix in the rest of the ingredients.


drei (drii) 3. Top with any of the garnishes.
